So after the couple a very successful season on Lala’s Full Court weeding, documenting what they went through during the planning of their wedding, Mr. and Mrs. Carmelo Anthony was approached yet again by VH1 to now document their lives as a couple, as parents and in their careers. to be entitled La La’ Full Court Life. And this news couldn’t have come at a better seeing as how the New York Knicks has a new edition to their family. For those wo have been living under a rock for what ever reason, Carmelo Anthony recently inked a 3 year $65 million dollar deal with the Knicks, which any basketball fan, myself included is super dumb excited about. I mean really Stoudemire could use some help at the garden. But that’s neither here nor there.
But any way moving on, apparently the show also documents there move to New York, but they have been filming the show way before Carmelo signed with the Knicks. So I’m pretty sure that once the show airs we will get to see some behind the scenes of what took place while this decision was being made. #POW
Now ya’ll know I’m a huge fan of La La all the way back to her day on BET. So you know I’m going to be glued to the television once this show actually airs. But aside from all the hype about her husband the show will pretty much document how La la maintains her career while in the midst of being a mother and a rather new wife. And a naturally when you roll in the celebrity world, you would have celeb friends and when you have your own reality show, those celeb friends would of course have to make their cameo appearances. So folks like Ciara, Kelly Rowland, Serena Williams, and more are said to have their time on screen, as they are a big part of La la and Carmelo’s life.
Jeff Olde from VH1′s Original Programming and Production states
“Viewers connect with La La because despite the fairy tale wedding and NBA star husband, she is a real, down to Earth, hardworking woman who stays true to herself. The best thing about the new series is that while pursuing and realizing her dreams, La La gets to take us back to her home in New York, where her story began.”
And this is so true, that’s why I watched the original reality show because she was honest about what she was going through. She went through the indecisiveness, of not knowing which dress she wanted to wear. She dealt with budget issues, she dealt the number of people coming to the wedding, she dealt with fear. Basically the same thing any bride goes through. Even with a high profile relationship with on of the best NBA players in the league, I think La la kept her cool and kept in 100 with the fans.
See now I don’t mind actually watching her show. So I suggest you all should watch it too.
