Carmelo & Lala get another reality show

So after the couple a very successful season on Lala’s Full Court weeding, documenting what they went through during the planning of their wedding, Mr. and Mrs. Carmelo Anthony was approached yet again by VH1 to now document their lives as a couple, as parents and in their careers.  to be entitled La La’ Full Court Life. And this news couldn’t have come at a better seeing as how the New York Knicks has a new edition to their family. For those wo have been living under a rock for what ever reason, Carmelo Anthony recently inked a 3 year $65 million dollar deal with the Knicks, which any basketball fan, myself included is super dumb excited about. I mean really Stoudemire could use some help at the garden. But that’s neither here nor there.

But any way moving on, apparently the show also documents there move to New York, but they have been filming the show way before Carmelo signed with the Knicks. So I’m pretty sure that once the show airs we will get to see some behind the scenes of what took place while this decision was being made. #POW

Now ya’ll know I’m a huge fan of La La all the way back to her day on BET. So you know I’m going to be glued to the television once this show actually airs. But aside from all the hype about her husband the show will pretty much document how La la maintains her career while in the midst of being a mother and a rather new wife. And a naturally when you roll in the celebrity world, you would have celeb friends and when you have your own reality show, those celeb friends would of course have to make their cameo appearances. So folks like Ciara, Kelly Rowland, Serena Williams, and more are said to have their time on screen, as they are a big part of La la and Carmelo’s life.

Jeff Olde from VH1′s Original Programming and Production states

“Viewers connect with La La because despite the fairy tale wedding and NBA star husband, she is a real, down to Earth, hardworking woman who stays true to herself. The best thing about the new series is that while pursuing and realizing her dreams, La La gets to take us back to her home in New York, where her story began.”

And this is so true, that’s why I watched the original reality show because she was honest about what she was going through. She went through the indecisiveness, of not knowing which dress she wanted to wear. She dealt with budget issues, she dealt the number of people coming to the wedding, she dealt with fear. Basically the same thing any bride goes through. Even with a high profile relationship with on of the best NBA players in the league, I think La la kept her cool and kept in 100 with the fans.

See now I don’t mind actually watching her show. So I suggest you all should watch it too.

‘Love & Hip Hop’ VH1′s new reality show

Yea you read it right, VH1 has confirmed a new reality show. Entitled “Love and Hip Hop” The show will follow former wives/girlfriends of hip hop artist. Interesting to say the least. But the concept won’t be much different than shows such as Basketball Wives and Football Wives.  The show will feature Vibe.com’s Mashonda Tifere (ex-wife to Swizz Beats) Emily B (girlfriend to Fabolous), Chrissy Lampkin (wife of  Jim Jones), latin music artist Somaya Reece (ex-girlfriend of Joe Budden), and R& B singer Olivia

According to Vibe Magazine

“The series will follow the women as they balance personal relationships and making it in the entertainment industry. Cameras will show Emily and Chrissy trying to lock their men down while Olivia and Somaya give viewers a look at what upcoming artists forgo to get ahead in the music game.”

This is an interesting choice of women, but it’s a start. Everyone knows about the Mashonda and Swizz Beats (who is nowmarried to Alicia Keys) and how their divorce played out. But I think we all are itching to see how she got on with her life, and I’m personally hoping for the show to not harp on their relationship. The other women, haven’t really been in the lime light, which is good. Now we get to learn about the women behind these men who we worship in the world of hip hop. E! did a number documentaries on Hip Hop wives (which I love) but i think this will be nice to see them is real life. (or as real as VH1 will make it)

“The show is about strength and womanhood. I’m excited about the show and the women on it,” says Mashonda of the new venture.

I truly hope so, because this is what women in hip hop, and significant others of hip hop artist need. A positive light into their world. Keeping my fingers crossed VH1

The show is set to premier on March 21st on VH1

Basketball Wives…back for ROUND 2

Season 2 of Basketball Wives…

Oh Lord where in the world do I begin?!  So ya’ll know I was glued to the TV cause  this episode is pure craziness and on some occasion pure foolishness. A new wife…returning wives but all new drama!

So I like the new wife Tami Roman, she is definitely a “culture shock” for Evelyn and Jennifer. She is a little rough around the edges. She could maybe use a little bit of grooming but I like herso we shall see.  Her family situation I’m not so sure about…she say the father didn’t come see their kids (Lyric 16, Jazz 14) but then their father says he tried and she wouldn’t let him…the jury is still out on that one!

I think it truly showed their true colors. I think Evelyn is a beautiful girl covering a slightly ugly attitude. For her to immediately write off Tami because of her outward appearance is SICKENING.

I myself have never used a used a food stamp, but why did Jennifer have to put herself out there like that…like way to make Tami feel welcomed.

I’m rather proud of Royce she looks like she has done some growing up, and matured and is really trying to figure her life out!

Now new drama with Evelyn and Suzie…this is some craziness, like she walk around so dang angry with the world lol get over it. I don’t know who is the honest one, we don’t know if Suzie said anything our not but Omg Evelyn get over it people are not on a jock like that. You’re walking around with all this damn animosity and Suzie isn’t giving you the time of day.

And let me tell ya’ll I so sick of their damn “circle” I mean come on really what ya’ll 16 grow up. “our circle”… “I brought her into the circle” DAMN SHUT UP! These women act as if they are the only basketball wives out there. And to be perfectly honest only one of them is actually married.(and she a hop skip and step from not even being married anyway)  The rest of them are ex-wives and women that not never got married but played house for a few years to a decade lol

Think I may have scared my suitemates cause I was hollering and screaming at the television! This season will be interesting So I’m ready.
