Teen Mom Get New tat…

ok so i have got to go HAM on this one right now! Teen Mom 2 mom Jenelle Evans gets a new tattoo on valentines day due to the fact that she doesn’t have a boyfriend. Check the pic, she has a a skull butterfly on what looks like her pelvic bone.

Now as someone who has 4 tats, I’m not against people getting tattoos, but when she one of the main moms claiming how she has no money, or she wanna b*tch and moan that she’s struggling with finances…I hope she sits back and remembers the money she blew on that tattoo.

Nicki Minaj; MY TIME NOW

ok ok i know I’m super late with this review but I really wanted to find the right words for this. And I can honestly say that I am so proud to watch this documentary of Nicki. NICKI MINAJ; MY TIME NOW aired on MTV on Nov. 28th  I think what I enjoyed most was the honesty of it all. It wasn’t to much of a tear jerker, and wasn’t all about her ego either. The program followed the Young Money diva through her VMA appearances, her album making process and most importantly her return to home of Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago to perform for thousands of fans! in my opinion this is the closest the world will ever get to seeing the real Nicki!

I loved the documentation of her family, i mean it was little bit awkward to see just how much she spent on her family and the amount of cash that she carried, but hey who am I to judge… it was real. A lot of celebs say “I want to do better for my family”….”I don’t want my family to have to struggle anymore” And I think seeing her with not just her mother and brother, but with cousins as well added to her reality.

beyond that it was nice to see a soft side to the force that is Nicki Minaj. When she was talking about not seeing her mother for 2 years, when her mother first came to the states, you can tell this is not a joke, there is some real emotion.

“A lot of times, when you’re from the islands, your parents leave and then send for you because it’s easier when they have established themselves; when they have a place to stay, when they have a job. I thought it was gonna be for a few days, it turned into two years without my mother,” she says of living with relatives.

But ya’ll what got me was when she was asked about her grandmother, the tears….omg! and what made that moment truly real was how much she tried her best to not cry. beyond not wanting to mess up her make-up lol, that emotion…that love that she still holds for her grandmother, your heart goes out to her.

But Imma keep it 100 with ya’ll, as much as people want to call her a biter, or hate on her…you gotta give props where props are due! The amount of publicity she is getting, some celebs don’t get until a few years into their career.  sooooo yea! beyond the look out for it because you know MTV replays everything like a million times!

I’m truly disturbed!

I am really really disturbed. Recently I have been wondering what is our society coming to. I have to question why are we so damn hypocritical. We tell people to love themselves for who they are. And not judging ourselves by society’s standards. But then we accept shows like E Channel’s”BridalPalsty” and MTV’s “I Used to be Fat”. Like what is it with trying to be perfect? I hear people say I want to be beautiful, I want to be pretty, I want this…I want that… and they believe that altering who they are will change that. It is utterly ridiculous.

Bridalplasty is competition for brides-to-be and they are competing to win a dream wedding. They get various plastic surgery procedures done, so they can look “perfect” on their wedding day. But remember it is a competition, so only one person can win the dream celebrity wedding. and on top of that, they will not see there fiancées for 4 WHOLE MONTHS. Now I am all for brides wanting to look beautiful on her wedding day. Every girl dreams of that day, wearing her dress and feeling the most beautiful she has ever felt in her life, and see her soon to be husband at the end of the aisle. But why do these women have to go the extreme feel beautiful. And for the type of show to be promoted really hurts my heart.

Now I’m a huge MTV fan but I really don’t know how I feel about this show. It follows a few high school seniors, who are all over weight. And before starting their freshman year at their respective colleges they want to drop the weight and become a whole new person. Now I am all for that idea, being that  I am plus size myself. But watching the trailer, and their reasons for losing weight was mind boggling. ‘Wanting to feel beautiful” or ‘Wanting be noticed’ or ‘Wanting to get a date’ It’s one thing to want to be healthy but, those reasons are crazy. because now you’re letting the world tell you how to feel.

so thats who I feel. How can we tell young people to love themselves but this is what they have to watch on tv. case and point people…you need to love yourself, because if you don’t…no one else will.

iI’m all for this cause one because at point in my life, I was bullied for being over weight. And it took alot for me to get to a point where i loved myself. unfortunately alot of kids dont feel that they have anyone to turn to and always feel lost. #LOVE is LOUDER

Lauren Conrad is Back!!!

 I for one am quite excite. LAUREN CONRAD will be reutrning 2 reality tv…as we all know and love her. She has comfirmed with MTV that she will have a new reality show that documents, a young women who is trying to build her clothing company. As we all know (The Hills fans stand up!) she has been trying to make a name for herself in the fashion industry, and apparently is doing pretty good for herself. Her line Paper Crown, will be the focus of this new show. Which if you ask me will be a breath of fresh air from the drama that was on The Hills. What I love about her is how she made the choice to no longer be on The Hills and I personally feel like it was the best thing she could’ve done for her career.

 She has confirmed that best friend Lo will not grace us with her presence, however Im not mad becasue Lo has her own thing going on (shout out to Lo). there is no comfirmation that her lovely other half Kyle Howard will be on camera (but come on ppl you know he will be) She has confirmed that her two friends Maura McManus and Gary Sameulian will be by her side in helping to build Paper Crown as a brand.

So i hope you guys are excited for this cause I surely am. Lauren we’re waiting on you!

IF YOU REALLY KNEW ME!

If you Really Knew Me  this is one hell of show. I applaud MTV for airing this show. I’ve watched this show a couple times, and every time I end up crying my eyes out. I think being that alot of the kids that participate in the challenge day, they are going through some of the same things I went through in high school, or my friends went through in high school, so everytime without fail, I ball my eyes out, just crying.

As I said, Im very proud of MTV for this becasue, with the trash like Jersey Shore this is a breath of fresh air. because we all were in high school at one point, we all dealt with bullies, and fake people, losing friends, feeling alone, stressed out. we all we at that point during high school. But to see a view of these kids that they normally would show, is what I love. we all hurt, we all cry…no matter how hard we try to hide it. so with that said Touche MTV…Touche
